Armetta Cleo Fryman, 90, wife of the late Luther Fryman, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Edgemont Healthcare.
Born December 8, 1928 in Bourbon Co. to the late Herbert Levi & Laura Davis Allen Carter, she was a retired employee of Jockey International and attended Wagoners Chapel United Methodist Church. Cleo loved going to yard sales and crocheting in her spare time.
Survivors include four sons: Robert Lee (Carolyn) Fryman, Jerry (Patsy) Fryman, David Glenn (Belinda) Fryman and Randy Eugene Fryman; two daughters: Trudy Ann Ladd and Rita Jean (Fred) Ballinger; a sister, Alma Viola Fryman; 12 grandchildren: Tina Sue Bennett, Luther Herbert Fryman, Jr., Bobbie Jo Fryman, Michelle Fryman, Anthony Fryman, Kris Fryman, Davina Morris, Kevin L. Ladd, Randall Eugene Fryman, Chasity Fryman, Justin Poe and Tabitha Ruth; 13 great-grandchildren: Hillary Perkins, Briana & Bradley Beagle, Tyler, Cheyanne, Klarissa, Alison, Alisha, Amber, Haley & Hope Fryman, Molly Ruth and Kamryn Ladd; and great-great grandchildren: Kelsie, Kwincie & Kylie Bennett, Paisley Perkins, Deshann & Demarcus Custard, Avery Ruth and Raylee Beagle.
Also preceding her in death was a son, Luther Herbert Fryman; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Poe; a son-in-law, Charles Ladd; 3 brothers: Charles Wash Carter, George Swinford Carter and Herbert Carter, Jr.; 2 sisters: Lorine Fryman and Linda Ellen Wood; 3 grandsons: Michael David Fryman, Joshua Allen Ladd and Jimmy Bruin; a granddaughter, Brandi Ballinger; and one great-grandson, Shawn Bennett.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday January 2, 2019 at Drake-Whaley-McCarty F.H. officiated by Bro. Stephen Staggs. Burial will follow in Battle Grove Cemetery.
Grandsons will serve as Casketbearers.
Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Tuesday
