Don Allen Kuykendall

It is with our deepest sympathy that Don Allen Kuykendall, 82, of Miamisburg, Ohio, beloved husband of Joanne Avis Ellis Kuykendall, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at his home.

Born February 3, 1938 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Charles & Velma Senft Kuykendall, he was a retired television broadcasting engineer with WDTN, Channel 2.  He served as president of the IBEW WDTN’s union  for many years.   He had been a member of the U.S. Army Reserve.  
Additional survivors include his 3 children: Brian (April) Kuykendall & Theresa (Daniel) Miller, both of Lawrenceburg, KY and Derek Kuykendall, of Miamisburg, OH; a brother, Jerry Kuykendall, & sister, Charlene Kuykendall, both of Lexington KY; 4 grandchildren: Carolyn Little, Alex Miller, Katrina Kuykendall and Autumn Kuykendall; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 30th at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home by Pastor Terry McDuffey with burial following in Battle Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon Saturday until the time of service.
