Jane Elizabeth (Berry) Martin

Jane Elizabeth Berry Martin, 99, wife of the late Calvin Joseph Martin, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 at Cedar Ridge Health Campus.

Born June 2, 1922 in Harrison County to the late Clarence F. & Carrie Batte Berry, she was a University of Kentucky graduate with a degree in elementary education and member of the Cynthiana Christian Church.  A longtime teacher in the Harrison County School System, Jane taught at Renaker, Buena Vista, Connersville, Marshall and Westside Elementary Schools and was a member of the Harrison County Retired Teachers Association.

Surviving are a daughter, Susan (Richard) Dycus; 2 grandchildren, Ben (Carrie) Dycus and Maggie Dycus; and 2 great-grandchildren, Will & Caroline Dycus.

Graveside services in Battle Grove Cemetery by Dr. Larry Bishop will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, December 23, 2021.
