Mayme Hamblin Wilson, 95, wife of the late Hiram Wilson, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Cedar Ridge Health Campus.
Born June 14, 1925 in Brutus (Clay County), Kentucky to the late Shafter & Lula Hignite Hamblin, she retired from Kroger after working more than 30 years as a cashier and was a member of the Webster Avenue Church of God. Mayme was very dedicated to her family and her church.
Surviving are 3 children: Hiram Daryl (Sharon) Wilson, of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, Ruth (Sonny) Hatterick, of Cynthiana, and Vicki (Wayne) Warman, of Milford, Ohio; a brother, Rudolph (Alma) Hamblin, of Sellersburg, Indiana; 2 sisters: Veronica (Woodard) Bowling, of Brownstown, Indiana, and Phyllis (Dewey) Turner, of Crothersville, Indiana; 6 grandchildren: Key Hatterick, Kyle Hatterick, Joe Brett (Angie) Hatterick, Cashane Wilson, Jenna (Jim) Florkey and Aaron Warman; 9 great-grandchildren: Sophia, Olivia, Gabrielle, Ashlyn, Grayce Jo & Piper Hatterick, Caitlyn & Corinne Florkey and Asher Warman, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Also preceding her in death were a brother, Ralph Hamblin, a sister, Lily Hamblin, and a grandson, Eric Warman.
Graveside services by Bro. Gary Stith will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Irvin Hill Cemetery in Oneida (Clay County), Kentucky.
Casketbearers will be Jim Florkey, Joe Brett Hatterick, Key Hatterick, Kyle Hatterick, Aaron Warman, Cashane Wilson and Hiram Daryl Wilson.
