Wilma Frances Fogle Lemons, 80, wife of the late Leo Earl “Toots” Lemons, passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
Born September 20, 1940 in Harrison County to the late William Thomas & Amo Harney Fogle, she was a retired security guard for Keeneland and Fasig-Tipton, a former teacher at Harrison County High School, and attended the Voice of Truth Ministries Church. Wilma loved watching television, playing games & doing crosswords on her tablet, and working puzzles.
Surviving are her sons, Tommy (Sherrie) Highlander and Tod (Iris) Highlander, of Cynthiana, Billy Charles Lemons, of Lexington, and Roy L. (Ashley) Lemons, of Nashville, Tennessee; 2 brothers, Clifton Thomas (Diana) Fogle, of Olympia, and Charles Wayne (Diana) Fogle, of Cynthiana; 2 sisters, Margaret Ruth Barnhill, of Paris, and Lola Jean (Earl Wes) Hicks, of Cynthiana; 7 grandchildren, Shawna, D.J., Kevin, Jessica, Nathan, Ronan and Maddie; and several great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces & nephews.
Also preceding her in death were 2 sons, Chuck Highlander and Donald E. Lemons; 2 brothers, James Edward & William Sanders Fogle; and a sister, Dorothy Lee Fogle.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 13th at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home by Bro. George Bills. Burial will follow in Wagoner’s Chapel Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Michael Duff, D.J. Faulkner, Allen Fryman, Kevin Highlander, Levi Hill and Jeremy Moore.
Honorary bearers will be Brett Brown, Mike Brown and Branden Hicks.
Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Thursday.
